PARTNER RELEASE: Datacastle Enters into OEM Agreement with EVault for Cloud-Connected Laptop Backup and Data Protection
SEATTLE — December 7, 2010 - Datacastle, a market leader for business resiliency solutions for the mobile workforce, today announced it has signed a multi-year, global agreement with EVault Inc., a Seagate Company, to allow EVault to resell the Datacastle RED solution for laptop, desktop and tablet data protection. The new EVault offering will be sold under the EVault® brand and will be offered as both a cloud based SaaS solution and an on-premise software solution.

Datacastle RED is a single agent, policy-driven solution that includes automatic laptop, desktop and tablet backup and recovery, AES encryption, port access control, remote data deletion and device trace. Available for implementation as a cloud based or as an on-premise installation, the new EVault offering will also be made available through EVault’s network of hosting partners worldwide.
